Crawfordsville, Ind March 31 – Dr. Jesse Franklin Davidson, 80 years old, the last of the four founders of the Ben Hur Life Association died at his home here last night after a year’s illness.  Dr. Davidson had been chief medical examiner for Ben Hur since its founding. He was born in Fountain County and attended high school in Covington.  Before assisting in organizing Ben Hur, Dr. Davidson was a practicing physician in Montgomery and adjoining counties. For many years he had been a prominent figure in the fraternal insurance work and had appeared as a speaker at meetings of the National Fraternal Congress.  Survivors are a daughter, Miss Margaret Davidson of Chicago; one grandson, Franklin Davidson of this city; a sister and two brothers. Funeral services will be held in the First ME Church here Monday afternoon.
